Layout for Windows 3.00c
Copyright © 1994 Objects, Inc.
Objects, Inc. brought their object-oriented, "blackbox" pre-coded objects programming concept to the Windows 3.1x platform. 16-bit Windows programs could now be created without writing a single line of code. "Blackboxes" are entered into a flowchart environment and given parameter values to create fully-executable Windows 3.1x programs. DLL libraries can also be created. Flowchart files can also be converted to Borland C++, standard C, and Microsoft Visual C++ source code. This version only supports some HP printers. It also includes Layout Helpmaker, a Windows 3.1x help file compiler. It originally retailed for US$329.99. While this version of Layout for Windows has a flowchart editor with a toolbar, the programming language has no support for writing programs with toolbars.
The flowcharts seen in the screen shots are from Software Inventory 1.4, a ZDNet 5-star rated shareware program I wrote with Layout for Windows, and it includes a comprehensive help file I created with Layout for Windows' help utility.
This version was released on five 1.44MB floppies.
